사회복지실천에서의 윤리이론에 관한 연구 = A Study on The Ethic and Ethical Theories with Professional Social Work Practice

Ethic, it seems to me and an increasing number of my colleagues, is more than a set of rules and strategies to avoid legal liability and professional censure. Rather, it is a way of being in relationship to clients, supervisees, students and colleagues that both promotes development and prevents harm. Being in relationships promotes development and prevents harm. Some heady words to be sure, but words that reflect significant changes in professional practice today.
This article describe general principles of ethical practices, it also provides in depth and extensive coverage of the application of these principles to the specialty areas of social work practices. Also It intended to be a primary article of particular interest to practicing social work practitioners as well as persons who working in the human services and related areas, because of extended coverage of ethically sensitive, professional practice issues in the social work practice areas. This article attempts to articulate various beliefs about ethics and professional practice.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

인간은 윤리적 존재이다. 인간의 본성을 어떻게 규정하든지, 인간은 타고난 본성, 인간의 주체적 활동, 그리고 삶의 터전인 환경적 요소에 의해 결정됨을 부인할 수 없다. 사회복지실천은 바로 이 세 가지, 즉 인간의 본성, 활동 그리고 환경적 요소 모두에 영향을 미친다는 점에 있어서 새로운 윤리적 물음을 야기한다. 단순히 기존 윤리설은 사회복지실천윤리 영역에 응용하는 차원을 넘어서 새로운 패러다임을 요구한다. 왜냐하면 기존 윤리설은 윤리의 주체가 되는 도덕행위자를 전제하고, 도덕행위자 사이에 지켜야 할 윤리를 탐구하여 왔으나, 사회복지실천의 발전은 바로 이 도덕 행위자 자체를 문제 삼고 있기 때문이다. 이때 사회복지실천에서의 행위자라 함은 사회복지사를 비롯한 전문가를 의미하고 이들이 현장에서 윤리적인 실천을 수행하기 위해서는 기본적인 도덕윤리를 비롯한 다양한 윤리이론에 대한 검토가 필요하다.
