영아의 발달 수준에 대한 어머니의 지식 정확도

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 현재 0～36개월 영아를 양육하고 있는 어머니를 대상으로 0～36개월 영아의 발달수준에 대한 지식의 정도를 알아보고 자녀의 연령에 따른 어머니의 영아 발달수준에 대한 지식 정확도의 차이를 살펴보는 것이다. 연구대상은 전라북도에 거주하는 생후 36개월 미만 영아의 어머니 218명(0세아 어머니 70명, 1세아 어머니 75명, 2세아 어머니 73명)이다. 연구의 도구로는 이영석(1998)이 만 2세 이하 영아의 발달수준 조사를 위해 제작한 교사용 설문지를 김중근(2005)을 근거로 어머니용으로 바꾼 설문지를 사용하였다. 연구 결과 현재 양육중인 자녀의 연령에 해당하는 영아의 발달수준에 대한 어머니의 지식 정확도는 50% 내외의 정답률로 낮게 나타났다. 또한 0～2세 연령의 전체 영아기 발달에 대해서도 0, 1, 2세 어머니들 모두 50% 미만의 정답률로 낮은 지식의 정확도를 보였다. 이에 영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니에게 영아의 발달에 대한 정확한 지식을 갖도록 돕는 부모교육의 실시가 시급한 당면과제라 할 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the mother's accuracy on the knowledge about their infant's developmental levels. In addition, it is to analyze the differences in that about 0～2 years infant's development according to their infant's age. The subject of this study were 218 mothers with infants aged from 0 to 36 months at J and I city in Jeonbuk. The instrument of this study is "The rating scale of knowledge of infant's developmental levels" of Young-suk, Lee(1998). The collected data has been analyzed by mean, SD, percentage, F-tests with SPSS/PC 11.0 Program. The results of this study are summarized as follows: The accuracy of the knowledge of mothers about their infant's developmental levels is low. And there are some differences in the mother's accuracy on the knowledge about 0 and 2 year old infant's developmental levels according to their infant's age. In conclusion, mother's knowledge of 0, 1, 2 year old infant's developmental levels is not enough. So it points out the possibilities of low quality in mother's infant rearing.
