Ogamdo Poem No. 1 is a poem created under the influence of Im, Hwa`s poem Turbidity-1927-on the Memorial Service Day of Sacoo and Vanzetti published in Kapp`s organ Art Movement that uplifted the banner of art movement as a political struggle. The fact that the origin of Yi, Sang`s literature involves tendency literature is something that should be considered more deeply. Therefore, this paper, as part of recognizing such a problem, tries to search for politicization of Yi, Sang`s literature. Viewed from aesthetic politicization, Yi, Sang`s literature has the greatest meaning as an intense aesthetic experiment to promote a social and artistic overthrow as well as a bitter struggle of extreme difficulty to try to devise a new modern identity in the time of crisis. Even a perspective based on realistic politicization must admit Yi, Sang`s literature does not neglect the problems of colonial realities of life. Especially, his Seongcheon experience lets him explicit a critical mind, though gentle, for colonial mentality to the surface of rhetorics. Yi, Sang speculates his critical mind for colonial realities of life more actively in his writings of Wings and Jijuhoesi(蛛蛛會豕: A Spider Couple`s Meeting with a Pig). Indeed, Wings and Jijuhoesi, allowing allegorical readings, include phenomena related to money and goods as the core motive. What is more interesting is that Yi, Sang holds his interest in Marxism while keeping a critical distance of it at the same time. This is the reason why Silhwa(失花: Lost Flower) has something unusual that describes wanderings among disillusion at the modern age of Japan`s imperialism, yearning for the modern age of Western capitalism as the origin, and a manpower of socialism as its antipode.
