지역사회훈련이 지적장애학생의 이동 및 직업기초기술 수행에 미치는 효과 = The Effects of the Community-based Training Program on the transportation skill and entry-level work skills of a Student with Intellectual Disability

Community-based training is regarded as an effective way to teach students with disabilities function life skills necessary for independent living. This study examined the effect of the community-based training program on transportation skills and entry-level work skills of a student with intellectual disabilities. The participant of the study was one high school student with intellectual disabilities, and the multiple baseline across behaviors design was used to investigate the effectiveness of the training program. Targer behaviors were transportation skills using public transportation and entry-level work skills, specifically folding cookie boxes and shop cleaning skills in a confectioner's shop. the community-based training program consisted of multiple components. Instructional strategies such as task analysis, video modeling, direct instruction, prompting, self-checklist, token reinforcement and behavior contract were part of the program. As a result of implementing the community-based training program, all three target skills of the participant were improved, and the acquired skills were maintained even after withdrawal of the intervention. Also, the student successfully generalized the acquired skill of cookie box folding in non-trained circumstances. The results of the study were discussed in the transition perspective for students with intellectual disabilities, and can be used to plan and implement effective community-based training programs.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

지역사회 훈련(community-based training: CBT)은 장애학생이 자립하는데 필요한 기능적인 생활기술을 효과적으로 가르치는 한 가지 방안으로 전환교육에서 중요하게 다루어지고 있다. 본 연구는 지역사회 훈련프로그램을 구성하고 적용하여 지적장애학생의 이동하기와 직업기초기술에 미치는 효과를 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 지적장애를 가진 고등학생 한 명을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 행동간 중다간헐 기초선 설계를 사용하였다. 목표행동은 시내버스를 이용한 이동하기 기술과 직업기초기술로 구성되었으며, 직업기초기술은 지역사회 제과점의 상자 접기와 상점 청소하기로 구성되었다. 지역사회훈련프로그램의 교수기법은 다중요소로 구성되었는데, 과제분석, 비디오 모델링, 직접교수, 반응촉진법, 자기 점검, 토큰강화와 행동계약 등이 포함되었다. 지역사회 훈련프로그램을 적용한 결과로서 대상학생의 이동하기 기술, 상자 접기 기술, 청소하기 기술이 모두 향상된 것으로 나타났으며, 습득된 기술은 중재가 종료된 후에도 유지되었다. 그리고 상자 접기 기술에 대한 일반화 측정에서도 그 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 지적장애학생을 위한 지역사회 훈련과 전환교육 관점에서 논의되었으며, 특수교육현장에서 효과적인 지역사회 훈련프로그램을 구성하고 실행하는데 필요한 기초 자료 및 선행연구로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
