가정폭력 피해 여성의 자녀양육 경험: 쉼터 입소 여성의 경험을 중심으로 = Parenting Experience of the Mothers of Domestic Violence: Focused on the Shelter Residents

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to explore parenting experience of the mothers of domestic violence from phenomenological perspective. Ten mothers who had minor children under age 20, had experienced domestic violence, and resided in shelters were interviewed in September, 2007. From the phenomenological analyses suggested by Giorgi, 211 meaning unitby 19 syntheses of meaning, and 9 themes were derived. The themes were as follows: `denot provide protection for children,` `do not interveol actively in the children`s exposure to wife babaering,` `problems were deepen by getting entangled,` `experience damages in their relationship,` `run to feeling sorry and regret,` `do their best to being responsible as parents,` `work hard to r` se children uprightly,` `pluck up their heart,` `foster a hope`. Based on the results, discussions and suggestions regarding social welfare practice and research to improve of welfare of the mothers and children of domestic violence were made.
