유아교사의 창의성과 교수 효능감 = Early Childhood Teacher's Creativity and Teacher's Efficacy

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to look at early childhood teacher's creativity and teacher's efficacy based on their education level, career, and type of early childhood institution. To conduct the study, 183 early childhood teachers in Seoul and Kyung-Ki Province filled out the forms of SRETC (Self Rating Scales for Early Childhood Teacher's Creativity) (Paik & Kim, 2008) and STEBI (Science Teaching Efficacy Belief Instrument) (Encohs & Riggs, 1990).
This study showed that first, teachers working in Kindergartens taught young children more creatively than those working in child care centers. Secondly, this study showed that teacher's creativity was different in their educational level, that is, teachers who graduated from 4-year-colleges were more creative than teachers who graduated from 2-year-colleges. There was no difference of teacher's creativity based on early childhood teacher's age and career. Thirdly, this study showed that there was a positive correlation between teacher's creativity and teacher's efficacy.
This study suggests that a quality program for raising teacher's professionalism is needed based on the results of this study.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아교사의 학력, 경력, 근무기간 등의 변인에 따라 유아교사의 창의성이 어떠한지 그리고 유아교사의 창의성과 유아교사의 교수 효능감 간의 상관관계는 어떠한지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울 및 경기 지역의 유아교육기관에 근무하는 유아교사 183명을 대상으로 연구하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 근무기관에 따라 유아교사의 창의성은 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 유아교사의 학력에 따라 유아교사의 창의성은 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 유아교사의 연령이나 경력에 따라 유아교사의 창의성은 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 넷째, 유아교사의 창의성과 교수효능감은 그렇게 높지 않지만 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 교사의 창의성을 높이는 전문성 함양 프로그램이 실시될 필요가 있음을 알 수 있었다.
