The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of goal-orientation on sport-stress in Korea national youth soccer players. The subjects of this study were 145 Korean national youth soccer players who is selected by Korea Football Association. Participants completed a questionnaire battery consisting of the goal orientation and sport stress. The SPSS version 13.0 for windows were used to perform Cronbach's α, ANOVA, t-test, multiple regression analysis. From the analysis of the data, the following conclusions of this study were obtained. The U-13 group was under more stress than other group on 'school work problem' and 'senior/junior relations'. U-14, 15, 16 group was under stress on 'entering a school of higher grade'. Middle school players were under more stress than high school players on 'entering a school of higher grade' and 'senior/junior relations'. The higher task orientation was under lower stress on 'fear of failure', 'fear of punishment' and 'game'. And the higher ego orientation was under higher stress on 'game'.
