국문 초록 (Abstract)

현재 농촌 지역을 중심으로 한 인구의 감소 현상은 미혼 남성의 증가를 야기하고 있으며 이는 다시 저출산이라는 결과를 낳는 악순환의 양상을 보이고 있다. 결혼 적령기를 훨씬 넘었음에도 불구하고 결혼에 이르지 못하는 남성의 증가는 동남아시아 지역을 중심으로 한 이주여성의 증가와 직접적인 연관이 있다. 이러한 현상으로 농촌지역은 다문화적·다인종적 특성을 가진 환경으로 재편될 것을 강요받고 있다. 그러나 이러한 현상이 지역사회 환경이라는 거시적인 단위의 변화만을 요구하고 있는 것은 아니다. 배우자의 이민족적·이문화적 특성에 직접적으로 노출되고 이에 적응해야만 하는 다문화 가정 남편의 스트레스에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 그러나 이들과 관련한 연구는 이주결혼 여성의 적응 문제 등에 관한 본 연구에 비해 양적·질적으로 매우 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구는 전라북도에 거주하는 국제결혼 남편을 대상으로 그들의 결혼만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대한 연구로서, 이를 통해 국제결혼가정의 결혼만족도를 높일 수 있는 실천적 대안을 도출하고자 한다. 본 연구는 국제결혼 남편 115명에 대한 방문설문조사를 통해 수행되었다. 연구의 결과 연령, 언어능력, 자녀 양육 등과 관련한 변수들이 국제결혼 남편의 결혼만족도에 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to find a way to improve marriage satisfaction of husbands who married with people whose ethnicity is different. For this purpose, 115 inter-ethnic married husbands were studied with reliable and valid research scales and methods. This study is focused on the relations between factors, such as marriage satisfaction of inter-ethnic married husbands, socio-psychological distress, inter-ethnic married wives socio-cultural adaptation, and etc. This study sets four hypotheses and they are as follows; [Ⅰ]The marriage satisfaction of inter-ethnic married husbands would be different according to their demographic characteristics and socio-economic status. [Ⅱ]The marriage satisfaction of inter-ethnic married husbands has been related with socio-psychological distress factors. [Ⅲ]The marriage satisfaction of inter-ethnic married husbands has been related with couple-family relations which they and their wives have maintained. [Ⅳ]The marriage satisfaction of inter-ethnic married husbands has been related with the socio-cultural adaptation level of wives whom they married with. The hypotheses are fully sustained except [Ⅰ]. Hypothesis [Ⅰ] is partially sustained.
