중복장애자녀의 부모교육을 통한 임파워먼트 향상에 관한 연구-지적 및 자폐성장애와 정신장애의 중복장애를 중심으로- = Study on increase of empowerment by educating parents who have children with multiple disabilities-Focusing on multiple disabilities consisting of intellectual disability/autism and mental disorder-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 장애인의 인구는 계속적으로 증가추세이다. 특히, 여러 유형의 장애 중 지적장애, 자폐성장애의 경우 성장하는 과정 중 비장애인과 여러 가지 측면에서 격차가 많이 발생하며 때로 뜻하지 않게 일시적이거나 영구적으로 정신장애라는 중복된 장애를 겪으며 살아야한다. 따라서 이들은 평생을 통해 지속적인 보호가 필요하며, 이러한 장애인을 돌보는 부모에게는 큰 부담으로 느껴진다. 본 연구는 중복장애자녀를 둔 부모들의 부담을 덜고 중복장애자녀의 지역사회통합화를 위하여 부모들의 임파워먼트가 중요하다고 보았다. 그리하여 지역복지관을 이용한 부모교육을 통하여 임파워먼트 향상에 대한 효과성을 알고자 본 연구를 하게 되었다. 결과로는 부모교육을 통하여 중복장애자녀의 미래준비에 대해 만족을 얻었으며 모든 프로그램을 통하여 심리적 안정을 통한 가족유대감을 형성하였음으로 전체적인 만족감을 표현하였다. 또한 대상자들이 자조모임을 형성함으로 하여 교육을 받은 부모들이 임파워먼트향상을 도모하였으며 앞으로 중복장애자녀를 양육하는데 있어 방향성을 제시하는데 도움이 되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Recently, disabled population has been continuously increased. Especially, for the intellectual disability / autism among many kinds of disability, children who suffer from such disabilities show big differences in various areas when they are growing, compared to ordinary children. Sometimes, they have to live with multiple disabilities caused by unexpected temporary and permanent mental disorder. Therefore, they must be given continual protections during their entire life and their parents who provide cares for them would have big burden. As this study recognized reducing such burden of parents and empowerment to parents for integration into the local society as important elements, it was carried out to find effects of education of parents pro-vided by a local welfare center on increase of empowerment. In findings, participants expressed overall satisfaction about the programs because they satisfied the preparation for the future of children with multi-ple disabilities by educating parents and formed family relationship with psychological stability by partic-ipating in all the programs. Also, it is shown that participants planned to increase empowerment to edu-cated parents through forming a self supporting group and the programs helped to show direction for bringing up their children who have multiple disability.
