사이버공간에서의 익명성이 언어플레이밍에 미치는 영향에서의 경로모델의 제시와 검증 = The Effects of Anonymity on Flaming on Cyber-space-Testing a Path Analysis-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study intends to test the effects of anonymity on flaming on cyber-space. This study suggests that the effect of anonymity would be mediated by public and private self-awareness, expectation of shame, situational impulsity, attitudes toward flaming, perception of victims, and perceive certainty of punishment. In addition, this study hypothesizes that socio-cultural norms of internet cite and other social background variables have significant impacts on flaming. Using data from 1113 male and female middle/high school student in Seoul, this article examines the direct and indirect effect of anonymity on flaming on cyber-space. Results show that anonymity reduces both public and private self-awareness, which have influences on the expectation of shame, situational impulsity, and attitudes toward flaming, and in turn, have significant effects on flaming. However, findings reveal that the effect of the perception of socio-cultural norms is largest. The policy implications of those results are discussed.
