대학 편입생들의 편입 후 대학생활에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 대학 편입생들의 편입 후 대학생활을 분석하는데 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 서울 종합대학교 제2캠퍼스에 소재하고 있는 남여 편입학생 79명을 대상으로 2004년 11월 초부터 동년 12월 초까지 약 1개월 동안 걸쳐 설문조사와 집단면접을 실시하였으며, 조사내용을 분석하기 위하여 t검증, F검증 및 사후검증을 실시하였다.
연구결과, 편입학생들의 학업성취도는 일반학생들에 비해 상대적으로 낮은데 반해 교육만족도는 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 편입 후의 새로운 대학생활에 대한 적응 및 수업과 인간관계의 측면에서 약간의 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 이러한 연구결과에 기초하여, 본 연구에서는 대학 편입학생들의 대학생활 향상을 위해 필요하다고 판단되는 몇 가지 정책적 제언을 하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the university life of transfer students after transference. Major research methods was survey and depth-interview. Research periods was from November to December in 2004, and analysis methods was t-Test, F-Test, and post analysis.
Major findings were as followings;
First, Transfer students’ academic achievement level was lower comparing to that of non-transfer students, especially lower in general subjects. Second, Educational satisfactions level was comparatively high in all aspects of University life. Third, Transfer students experienced a little difficulties for adaptation to new University life, class instruction and examination methods, and human relations.
Based on these major research results, In this study several suggestions for improving the life of transfer students were presented.
