성인학습과 사회적 자본 프로파일 - 시민교육정책에 주는 함의|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한국의 풍토에 맞는 시민교육이 무엇인지를 20세에서 59세까지 1,505명의 성인들을 대상으로 자기 주도적 학습 행동과 사회적 자본의 관계를 분석함으로써 실증적으로 검토하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 사회적 자본 프로파일 분석을 통하여 성인들을 유형화하고 그들이 자기 주도적 학습 행동과 상황 의존적 학습 행동에서 어떤 양상을 보이는지 그리고 사회적 자본의 각 요인들과 두 가지 학습 행동 간의 관계는 무엇인지를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 사회적 자본이 높은 유형의 사람들은 자기 주도적 학습 습관이 높은 반면 사회적 자본이 낮은 유형의 사람들은 이와반대로 나타났다. 한편, 사회적 자본과 상황 의존적 학습 행동 간의 관계는 하위 요인들에 따라 다양하게 나타났는데, 사회적 자본의 형식적 행위(정치적 목소리)와는 정적인 관계를 가지고 있으나 실천적 행위(신뢰？호혜성 및 도움행동)와는 부적인 관계를 가진 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 사회적 자본이 자기 주도적 학습 행동과 정적인 관계를 가질 것이라는 가정은 지지되었으나 상황 의존적 학습 행동과 부적인 관계를 가질 것이라는 가정은 부분적으로 만 지지되었다. 본 연구는 이상의 결과들을 시민의식의 내면화 과정에서 나타나는 현상으로 해석하고 이것이 시민교육정책에 어떤 시사점을 가지는지 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was to explore how to direct Korean civic education policy by analysing the relationship between self-directed learning habits and social capital of Korean Adults. By clustering them with respect to social capital, it was examined the relationships of each clusters and among social capital factors(ie, trust？reciprocity, social support？ network, civic participation), self-directed, and context-bound learning behaviors base on the empirical data analysis. The results showed that high social capital groups indicated high self-directed(low context-bound) learning habits, but low social capital groups indicated contrast. Meanwhile, people who have high context-bound habits were negatively related to practical behaviors (trust？reciprocity, helpfulness), but were positively related to show-up behaviors(political voices). Thus, it was discussed educational implications of those results to the internalization of citizenship.
