불성론을 바탕으로 한 생태적인 삶의 모색 = Study on Ecological life on the Nature of the Buddha

  This thesis is focused on the critical situation of ecosystem at present. In the view which assumes that all life have good nature of the Buddha I tried to find a solution to get over the ecological crisis of today.<BR>  In general people are aware that an effluence of large amount of poisonous waste and a reckless exploitation of natural resources are the main causes of the ecological crisis. On the other hand, the problem has complicated by abuses of human-centered value, excessive expressions of unlimited desires and unawareness of humankind on the relationship between themselves and the ecosystem.<BR>  In the assumption, which is all life possess good nature of the Buddha, the term "all life" covers every living creature such as the local flora and fauna. Furthermore the premise conveys that all life must be treated fairly as they are blessed with the Buddha"s character. Thus mankind need to realize the significance of equality that lies among all the living thing and exert effort to maintain the pursuit of impartial treatment between human and the other lives. I believe this is the way which can better the destroyed ecosystem and how people attain the Buddhahood in the end.<BR>  Therefore, All life should realize the interdependence with the nature and be able to distinguish the needs from the wants. Then people will start taking the Middle Way, which directs to clean the land and to attain the Buddhahood.<BR>  All life should realize the nature of the Buddha and the interdependence. Then people can convert their desire into the oath, which directs to clean land and the Buddhahood.
