타당도에 대한 통합적 관점 = Unified View on Validity

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 타당도 이론에 있어서 최근 학계의 합의라고 할 수 있는 타당도에 대한 통합적 관점의 대두 배경과 특성, 통합적 관점에서의 타당도 증거들을 고찰한다. 타당도에 대한 통합적 관점에서 타당도는 검사 활용의 가치와 결과를 포함하여 가능한 모든 증거들을 이론적 틀 안에서 종합하여 얻어진 평가적 판단이며, 이를 위해 통합적 관점은 첫째, 모든 타당화의 원리로서의 구인타당도, 둘째, 가치(value)와 검사 활용 결과(consequences)에 대한 명시적 고려, 셋째, 모든 가능한 증거들을 통한 종합적인 평가적 판단, 넷째, 평가(evaluation)로서의 타당화 과정을 그 특성으로 한다. 이러한 통합적 관점에 입각하여 AERA, APA, NCME는 다섯 가지 타당도 증거를 제시하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigates the background, the characteristics, and the sources of validity evidence of the unified view on validity, which has been regarded as a kind of consensus among validity theorists. In this unified view validity is a unitary evaluative judgment through all possible sources of evidence accompanied by theoretical rationale, including the value implication and the consequences of the test use. In order to do this, the unified view has four characteristics, that is, (1) construct validity as the rationale of whole validation, (2) the explicit consideration of values and consequences of test use, (3) unified evaluative judgment through all sources of evidence, and (4) validation process as evaluation. According to the unified view on validity AERA, APA and NCME present five sources of validity evidence.
