인터넷을 활용한 진로정보탐색 프로그램이 중학생의 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Career Information Exploration Program Using Internet on the Junior High School Students' Career Maturity

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the effects of the career information exploration program using internet on the junior high school students′career maturity. For this purpose, the career information exploration program using internet was developed. The main factors of this program are performing free on-line interest test, contesting to explore web sites with career information, and getting career information through internet according to the participants′interest. The data were collected from 368 students of junior high school who consisted of the experimental group(166) and the control group(199). The program was composed of four sessions which took 60-minutes each. The third and the fourth session were performed a week after completing the first and the second session. Present study showed that the experimental group got statistically higher score than the control group in CMI(Career Maturity Inventory) after completing the program. This tendency was also shown in the sub factors of CMI, i.e. decisiveness, involvement, independence, and orientation. The implications for youth career education or counseling programs were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 인터넷을 활용한 진로정보탐색 프로그램이 중학생의 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향을 검증하 였다. 이를 위하여 ‘인터넷을 활용한 진로정보탐색 프로그램’(4회기 프로그램, 회기당 60분 소요, 하루에 2회기씩 실시하며 1주일 간격으로 두 번 만남)을 제작하였다. 본 프로그램은 온라인 무료 직업흥미검사 실시 및 해석, 정보탐색 연습, 관심직업에 대한 집중탐색의 세 가지 요소를 중심으로 구성되었다. 중학교 남녀학생 368명(진로정보탐색집단 169명, 통제집단 199명)을 대상으로 프로그램의 효과를 검증한 결과 참가자들은 통제집단 구성원들에 비하여 타협성 하위요인을 제외하고는 결정성, 관여성, 독립성, 성향성, 그리고 진로성숙도 전체에서 의미 있게 높은 평균점수를 얻었다(p<.001). 본 프로그램은 단기성을 주요 특징으로 하며 특히 익명성, 시공의 초월성, 선호도 등의 측면에서 청소년들에게 친숙한 인터넷을 적극 적으로 활용하여 진행된다. 이에 본 프로그램이 중학생들의 진로성숙도 증진에 긍정적으로 기여함을 입 증한 본 연구의 결과는 진로지도 및 상담의 현장에 인터넷을 활용하여 단기로 이루어지는 진로정보 탐 색 프로그램의 적극적인 활용가능성을 보여준다.
