This study has its purpose on finding a proper direction of science education in babyhood by learning the actual conditions of science education in early childhood. Child education facilities including kindergartens and nursery schools in Gyeonggi province were gathered to conduct the study.
The research tools which were used to perform the study are the basis of measuring tools of the study carried out by Jung-joo Kim(2006), Mi-ra Han, Eun-sook Kim(2006), Moon-jung Kang(2006). The study is amended and improved through several discussions by this researcher, analyst of science education in early childhood and teachers.
Statistical program SPSS win 14.0 was applied for analyzing data, frequency analysis and x² verification were conducted for the statistical analysis methods in early childhood is significant.
An the result of analyzing data, majority of teacher perceived science education It showed that they have interests of creatures, environment of animal and plants as contents of science education in early childhood.
For educating methods, it also showed that re-organizing class contents tailored for the realities of child education facilities.
