남녀 대학생의 예비 부모됨에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Knowledge of Pre-Parenting for the University Students(bsaed on gender issue)

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 남녀 대학생들을 대상으로 예비부모됨에 대한 인식과 부모역할 및 기초지식 내용을 살펴보고, 성별에 따른 부모됨의 차이를 알아 보았다. 연구대상은 교양과목인 현대사회와 가족을 수강한 학생 216명을 대상으로 질문지를 활용하여 부모됨의 인식, 부모역할의 이해 및 필요정도, 육아에 대한 기초지식과 내용에 대해 성별에 따라 어떠한 차이를 보이는지 살펴본 결과, 자녀를 낳아 키우는 이유, 예비부모교육의 필요성, 지식획득 통로 등에서 남녀간에 차이가 있었다. 부모자신에 대한 이해, 부모의 역할, 육아에 대한 지식수준에 있어서 남학생보다 여학생이 높게 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this study is to compare the knowledge of pre-parenting for the university students in terms of gender issues. Research questions are 1) to clarify university student"s motivations on Pre-parenting, 2) to compare university student"s understands on Pre-parenting, 3) to investigate university student"s needs on Pre-parenting, and 4) what is the supplementary contents on Pre-parenting education course.
In this study, 216 university students who took the course of ""Modern Society and Family Members"" responded to questionnaire on parental role, motivation, and needs and understanding about childrearing. Kim Ji Shin(1997)"s pre-parenting scale was used in the collection of data. T-test was used to analyze the data.
The results are as follows.
1. Most of male/female participants preferred maturity demands and fun for childrearing to economic and emotional dependency about motivations for pre-parenting.
2. For the understands of the pre-parenting, female participants preferred parental role and parental knowledge/attitude to male participants.
3. For the needs of pre-parenting, most of male/female participants wanted to acquire knowledge and attitude for future parenthood, pre-parenting, the postnatal care, and difficulty for childcare were desired.
4. Female participants understood more the necessity of pre-parenting knowledge than male participants.
