질적 자료 분석 소프트웨어(NVivo2)의 유용성과 한계 = 전통적 분석방법과 Nvivo2 분석방법의 비교

국문 초록 (Abstract)

  본 연구는 질적 자료 분석 소프트웨어의 유용성을 평가하기 위한 것으로, 동일한 심층면담 자료를 전통적 방식과 NVivo2 소프트웨어로 분석한 경우를 비교 검토한 것이다. 분석의 타당성과 진실성 기준에서 보면 NVivo2의 코딩 작업으로 자료의 세부 내용까지 체계화할 수 있고 편향되거나 과장된 연구결과의 위험성을 줄일 수 있으나, 연구자의 주관과 집중력에 따라 코딩 내용이 달라질 수 있다. 노드(node)의 수치 정보는 연구의 신빙성을 높일 듯 보이지만 그 수치에 과다한 의미를 부여하지 않는 주의가 필요하다. 코딩 작업에 많은 시간과 노력이 필요하고 연구자와 자료간에 거리감을 일으켜 효율성 기준에서 소프트웨어 활용은 부정적 측면이 있다. 소프트웨어를 활용하더라도 노드 설정, 산출된 정보 해석, 범주들 간의 관계 설정 등, 분석의 모든 단계에서 핵심이 되는 것은 결국 연구자의 판단과 아이디어였다.
