The purpose of this study was to develop infant education program to expedite the development of six to 12 month olds and their attachment to caregivers, as they steadily got attached to people around them. And it"s also intended to apply it in a daycare center to identify its effect on steady attachment of infants. To identify the effect of the program on attachment relationship, both groups took tests in attachment before and after the experiment, and their caregivers were interviewed three times to see if there were any changes in their views. For data handling, Mann-Whitney U-Test was used, which was a nonparametric test to be suitable for a small number of subjects.
The results were as follows: first, the infant education program could be said to exert a favorable influence on their steady attachment relationship. second, the caregivers expressed satisfaction when they received theoretical and practical education about the development of steady attachment relationship, and they got confident of infant education. And there was a favorable change in their ways of interacting with infants in the course of acquiring how to respond to them.
