      This study was aimed to evaluate the effect of home language intervention program for language communication attitude of parents for their children with cochlear implant. Ten pairs of mother and child were selected and assigned into two groups(intervention group, vs. control group). Group 1(n=5) was 5 children with cochlear implant and their mothers who were in home language intervention program. Group 2(n=5) was 5 children with cochlear implant and their mothers who were not in home language intervention program. To evaluate communication attitude of mothers for their children evaluation tools and spontaneous language sample were analyzed. Performances of pre and post-treatment were analysed by ANOVA procedure. The results were as follows. Communication attitude of parents for their children in G1 was significantly different between pre and post treatment stage. But there was no differences in G2.
        This study revealed that home language intervention program would be effective for language communication attitude of mothers for their children with cochlear implant.
