자기개념과 편집증적 경향 = Self-Concepts and Paranoid Tendency

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 자존감과 자기 개념을 개념적으로 구분하고, 편집증적 경향과 자존감, 자기개념, 자의식간의 관계를 알아본 것이다. 연구 1에서는 대학생 189명에게 편집성 척도, 자존감 척도, 자기 안정성 척도, 자기개념 척도를 실시하였는데, 자존감, 자기 안정성 지각, 자기개념 모두가 편집증적 경향과 유의미한 역상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 2에서는 대학생 260명에게 편집성 척도, 자기개념적 척도, 자의식 척도를 실시하였다. 그 결과 연구 1에서와 마찬가지로 자기개념이 편집증적 경향과 관련이 높았고, 자의식 척도의 하위 척도 중에는 사회불안 점수와 공적 자의식 점수가 편집증적 경향과 관련이 높았다. 연구 1,2를 종합할 때, 자기개념이 편집증적 경향과 가장 관련성이 높은 변인으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 제한점과 앞으로의 연구 방향이 논의되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study conceptually differentiated the term self-esteem and self-concept and investigated the relationship among paranoid tendency, self-esteem. self-concept, and self-consciousness. In Study I, the Paranoia Scale, Self-Esteem Scale, Stability of Self Scale, Self-Concept Scale were administered to 189 college students. Results showed that self-esteem, self-concept. stability of self were negatively correlated with paranoid tendency. Especially, self-concept was most highly related with paranoid tendency. Regression analysis and group comparisons showed the same results. In Study 2, the Paranoia Scale, Self-Concept Scale, Self-Consciousness Scale were administered to 260 college students. Self-concept was most highly correlated with paranoid tendency, and public self-consciousness and social anxiety subscale of the Self-Consciousness Scale were highly correlated with paranoid tendency. Study I, 2 indicated that the self-concept was most highly correlated with paranoid tendency. The limitations of this study, and implications for future study were discussed.
