In this research, surveyed were educational activities in families conducted by family members for children in a family and a local society focusing on apartment residential areas which have rapidly grown, and some methods and strategies for family-centered educational activities under natural environments were sought based on needs and problems revealed during the survey. Through the research above, methods for family0centered educational activities were surveyed based on meaningful spaces and relationships showing those family-centered educational activities. Those spaces and relationships were the interior space of apartment, the exterior space of apartment, relationships with neighborhood, central spaces in local societies, relationships with other parents of disabled children etc. furthermore, concrete strategies were surveyed to apply family-centered educational activities into local societies. That is a serial process, analyzing the needs of individual child → investigating family and local society environments → seeking and planning meaningful veins → forming relationships → requesting information and cooperation → participations → evaluations → expanding the scope of participations, for families to actively induce relationships in local societies, to form resources, and to make educational tries through them. Seeing from those results, the meaning of this research is as follow. Firstly, the possibility of applying family-centered educational activities was surveyed through various and creative educational activities done by families under natural environments. Secondly, the strategies suggested in this research can be applicable to other similar apartment residential areas from the aspect of the general equality of apartment residential environments. Thirdly, social changes such as overcrowding, large size new cities, and changes in living environments were surveyed from the aspect of educations for disabled children. Based on this research, subsequent researches can be suggested as follow. Firstly, it is necessary to broad research on the family-centered educational activities in the relationships between families and those various environments such as cities, agricultural countries, apartment, small houses, and the others. Secondly, the necessity of researches that fully considering the relationships between family-centered educational activities and personal characteristics of infants with special needs.
