떡[餠] 명칭 분절 구조 연구 Ⅰ = A Study on the Divisible Structure of Rice Cake Name Ⅰ

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was attempted to explain the position value of the names for rice cake in modem Korean in connection with Korean people's outlook on the world, as following the word-field theory that had formed in Europe centering around Germany. The main purposes of this study is first, for understanding our people's spiritual world and finally, for setting up the lexical systems grounded on that matter.
In modem Korean, rice cake names are divided quite variously, so this study progressed while being confined by following matters, such as expressions by ingredients, containers, quality, conditions, and uses. The results are as follows.
First, the ways to recognize the objective world for Koreans about the names for rice cake were found that in this order, expressions by ingredients 179 (34.1%), expressions by conditions Z7 (5.1%), expressions by uses 22 (4.2%), expressions by containers 16 (3.0%), and expressions by quality 11 (2.1%). Also, each division was classified into many other subordinate divisions.
Second, in each division the systematic names for rice cake were revealed in this sequence, native Korean words 120 (22.9%), words written in Chinese characters 70 (13.3%), native Korean words + words written in Chinese characters 65 (12.4%).
