A military that called the Northeast Anti-Japanese Allied Army take a special position in the Chinese modem history. Several troops was organized in order to resist to Japanese army in the Northeast China in 1930's. They didn't have formed a union for a long time, just took part in an engagement as a guerrilla unit. At a late, they was integrated by the CCP's leading, that is the Northeast Anti-Japanese Allied Army. But in the end of 1930' s, when faced by a continuous and wholesale mopping-up operation of Japanese army, they couldn't be unendurable any more. So they decided to go to the Soviet Union's boundary, and get assistance from Soviet army. They was formed into a brigade under the Far East Army of Soviet Union in 1942, and was trained military exercises and political maneuvering, etc. They had been waiting for the time to go back to Northeast China so as to come into action against Japanese army. Though they had become a brigade of Soviet army, never forgot they belonged to the CCP.
On August 1945, Soviet Union declared war against Japan, and then launched a attack to the Northeast China. The Northeast Anti-Japanese allied Army also went back with Soviet army. They not only helped Soviet army's affairs, but also take advance of their soviet army's privilege. They set up the political organization and troops throughout allover the Northeast China. When they finished these affairs, they transfered all to CCP.
Because Soviet Union conclude a Treaty of a Alliance of Amity with KMT, they could not assist CCP in the postwar period. That is the reason why KMT depended on Soviet Union about Northeast China Problem. KMT never anticipated the fact that the Northeast Anti-Japanese Allied Army existed in the Soviet Army. The Northeast Anti-Japanese Allied Army's peculiar identity paved the way for CCP's success in the Northeast China.
