유아의 놀이성과 또래유능성 및교사성간의 관계 = A Study on the Relationship of Children's Playfulness to Their Children's Peer Competence and Teacher-Child Relationship

This study investigates how children's playfulness levelsrelate to their Children's Peer Competence and Teacher-Child Relationship. Subjects were one hundred and fifty 3-, 4-, and 5-year olds at child care centers in Gyeongbuk Province. To analyze the relationship between playfulness and peer competence, and teacher-child relationships, three instruments were used: Barnett's children's playfulness scale (1990), Park & Rhee's Scale for Evaluation of Preschool Children's Peer Competence (2001), and Pianta's Student Teacher Relationship Scale: STRS(1991). The collected data were analyzed by regression analysis using the computer program SPSS/PC.
The results of this study are as follows: First, children's playfulness levels were significantly related to Children's Peer Competence. Second, children's playfulness and intimacy. conflict of Teacher-Child Relationships were significantly related to social spontaneity in sub-areas of children's playfulness. But physical spontaneity was significantly related to conflict of Teacher-Child Relationships, and negatively related to dependent of Teacher-Child Relationships.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

유아교육의 실제에서 놀이는 효과적인 교수․학습방법으로 주요한 역할을 하며, 최근에는 놀이를 유아교육과정에서의 통합 도구로서 기능을 강조한다. 유아놀이의 맥락에서, 교사는 유아의 놀이를 학습과 교육 경험으로 연결하고, 또래간의 놀이 경험을 공유하여 교육적 효과를 증진시켜야 한다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 유아의 놀이성이 또래유능성과 교사-유아관계에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 경북 H읍 유아 150명을 대상으로 교사용 척도를 사용하여 그 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 유아의 놀이성은 또래유능성에 영향을 미치고 설명력을 보였다. 둘째, 유아의 놀이성은 교사-유아관계의 하위요소 중 친밀감 및 갈등에 대해서만 설명력을 보였다.
