국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문의 목적은 한국어 음성인식에 필요한 기초 자질 설정을 위한 음성학적 정보를 고찰하는 것이다. 음성을 인식한다는 것은 단순히 소리를 지각한다는 것과는 차원이 다르다. 화자가 약속된 상징을 소리로 만들어내고 청자가 그 소리를 해독하는 과정에는 단순히 물리적인 요소만이 개입되어 있는 것이 아니기 때문이다. 화자가 생산해 낸 음성을 청자가 쉽게 식별할 수 있는 것은 그 음성이 가지고 있는 독특한 음성학적 자질을 분별하기 때문이다. 따라서 본고에서는 이러한 한국어의 음성학적 자질을 설정하는 데 기초가 되는 음향 자질인 포먼트 주파수, 포먼트 전이, 분절음의 지속시간 등에 초점을 맞추어 살펴보았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this study is to provide phonetical information for the establishment of the Base Features needed for the speech recognition of Korean language. The recognition of speech belongs to a different level from the simple perception of sound, because the whole processes of speakers' production of speech and decoding the sounds cannot be explained just with the physical factors. But the reason listeners recognize speakers' speech with ease is that they can discern phonetical distinctive features of each sound. Therefore this study focuses on the summary of the base of acoustic features of Korean language such as formant frequency, formant shift, duration of segmental sounds.
