사물 및 공간 개념에 대한 유아의 은유 양상 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigated young children’s understanding of metaphorical expressions of perceptual and spatial concept in Korean Children’s Corpus. Data are gathered using a metaphorical task and interview, free-talking conversation from Korean-speaking children, at the mean ages 3～6-years-olds(100 participants per age group). For the purpose of this study, the aspects of children’s metaphors and the trends of children’s metaphoric expressions will be discussed. Children are able to perceive metaphoric expressions as well as metaphor in ordinary speech situation in nature. The results showed metaphorical competence to be an early emerging cognitive and language competence. And that, the development of metaphoric competence is closely tied to be a acquisition of adjective, interrogative. Finally, suggest that children’s metaphoric expressions are spontaneously ubiquitous in free conversation and the developmental trends are observed with respect to the age difference, the contents of metaphors, and the decline of metaphors.
