스포츠 학업 성취상황에서의 목표 지향성과 교양체육 수업참여 목적에 대한 연구 = The Relationship Between Goal Orientation and Perceived Purpose of Sport Among Sports Achievement Education Context

The purpose of this study was to analyse relationship Between goal orientation and perceived purpose of sport among sports achievement education context. The 100male students and 122 female students are randomly selected from each sports activity education department(ski, golf, swimming, bowling, badminton). The goal orientation of subjects measured by YSGOS(youth Sport Goal Orientation Scale; 12item) and the perceived purpose of sport measured by PYSS(Purpose of Sport Questionnaire; 43 item). Analysis of the data was treated by multi-variate analysis of variance of SPSS/PC? Version 7.0 and Canonical correlation analysis of SAS win.
The results of analysis of the data were drawn as follows :
1. Effect of goal orientation[(F7.15)=66.05, p＜.001)] were found also the task goal orientation group revealed higher (a) teach the value of mastery and cooperation(m-3.71, p＜.001), (c) make good citizen(m=3.56, p＜.001), (e) help individuals obtain a high status career(m=3.16, p＜.05), than ego goal orientation group(m=3.03, m=3.14, m=2.92). Conversely the ego oriented group revealed higher (d) make people competitive(m=3.84, p＜.05), (f) enhance self-esteem(m=3.79, p＜.001) than task orientation group.
2. The canonical correlation analysis result revealed effective canonical equation(wilk's lambda=.34; Rcl=.811, p＜.001) of all subjects statically. Also effective canonical equation(wilk's lambda=.34; Rcl=.811, p＜.001) of male subjects(wilk's lambda=.21; Rcl=.873, p＜.001), female subiects(wilk's lambda=.50; Rcl=.689, p＜.001). The task goal orientation adaptive correlated with (a) teach the value of mastery and cooperation, (b) show people how to be physically active for life, (c) make good citizen, (e) help individuals obtain a high status career statistically. And ego goal orientation adaptive correlated with (d) make people competitive statistically but (f) enhance self-esteem was low correlated a little bit.
