This study digs into the relationship of the leadership and trust by positively examining the leadership behavior and the leadership' s effective job-response relationship with trust cognitive process as a mediation. based on the Trust cognitive process suggested recently by scholars such as Doney from the United States of America. also it was attempted to verify whether the trust cognitive process applies the theory to organizational members from Korea that are from a different cultural background. As a result of the positive examination, the five types of Trust cognition pattern suggested by scholars like Doney was recognized by culturally different Koreans without any problems. The trust variation formed by the trust cognition process acted as a strong mediation element, and there was a strong correlation between the leadership behavior and trust cognition pattern. There was also a strong correlation between trust cognition pattern and job-response. The study confirmed that trust built by calculative, prediction cognition acted as a stronger mediation element than the capability, transference, intentionality cognition. When it came to leadership behavior, personal consideration had a stronger effect on trust cognition job-response than other leadership behaviors.
