블로그의 미디어적 기능과 한계 = 블로그 이용자의 블로그 이용행태와 평가를 중심으로

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study explores the blog as a media through the blog user's recognition and evaluation. The research designed to figure out three research questions. First, how blog users are using the blog and what dose have characteristics of blog users? Second, what are the blog's social functions as media and how the recognition styles are blog as a media? Third, is difference to evaluate about blog as media functions, limits and problems between heavy user and light user? For this research, web survey is conducted on blog users.
Blog users in Korea are using blog not a tool for social activities and individual recording but maintenance for social relationship and making social network. And blog is functioned as media which provide social interactions, information and entertainment. Also, according to amount of blog use there is difference in estimation about blog as media. Heavy user evaluated higher that blog was providing entertainment/ cultural function, surveillance function and social interaction function. Also, this study found that blog use is affecting in estimation about media function of blog. The social problem of blog are privacy, defamation and copyright. But, blog users did not recognize so seriously about those problems.
