비서 교육에 대한 여성주의적 조명과 시사점 = Feminist Perspectives and Insights on Secretary Education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

비서학계 학자들은 비서학과의 일반적인 교육과정이 사회에서 요구하는 인재상에 부응하고 있을 뿐만 아니라, 건전한 조직 구성원 육성에 기여하고 있다고 말한다. 그럼에도 불구하고 본 연구자는 '여성화'되어 있는 비서직이 비서들로 하여금 고정된 성역할에 맞추어 업무를 수행하도록 요구하며, 그러한 요구를 직업정체성과 결합시키도록 기대하면서 비서의 여성화를 강화한다고 생각한다.
이러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 성 역할과 관련한 비서의 역할에 대해 비서과 교수들은 어떻게 해석하는지, 현직 비서들은 기업에서 요구하는 성 역할에 대해 어떤 방식의 인식을 하고 있는지 등 비서교육과 비서들의 성 역할 고정관념과 관련한 지점을 여성주의적 시각으로 분석하였다. 여성주의 진영에서 논의된 '수행성'이 여비서에 대한 기업의 남성 중심적 요구를 거스를 수 있는 개념적 틀로 제시되었다. 연구자는 그러한 개념이 교육을 통해 학생들과 소통되기 위해서는 여성학 강의나 여성주의적 철학에 입각한 교과과정이 필요하다고 주장한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Scholars in the field of secretary education say that the curricula of secretary education dealing with value and ethics of career meet the needs of the society that requires sound and healthy citizens. Nonetheless. the present study is based on an assumption that the secretary as a "feminized" worker is demanded to perform on the basis of gender roles as a woman and therefore reinforces the feminization of the career. In this regard. the present study is conducted to understand how professors in secretary education perceive the gendered labor of secretary and how they teach students on their perception of secretary as gendered labor. In conclusion. the concept of "performality" is suggested as a means to resist the desires of male-centered culture of workforce that asks female secretary for gendered performance.
