비서 관련학과 직업윤리교육의 현황과 개선방안에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Current State and the Improvement Plan of Vocational Ethics Education for Secretarial Science Department

국문 초록 (Abstract)

비서직 직업윤리란, 비서직 종사자가 지녀야 할 직업윤리로 정의되며, 직업일반의 윤리와 비서직 특수직업윤리로 구성된다. 본 연구는 비서 관련학과의 비서직 직업윤리교육의 현황을 파악하고, 그에 대한 비서 관련학과 교수와 현직 비서의 인식을 조사하여, 비서 관련학과 비서직 직업윤리교육의 개선방향을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 비서직 직업윤리교육의 필요성, 비서직 직업윤리교육 프로그램의 적절성, 비서 관련학과 비서직 직업윤리교육의 적절성, 현직 비서를 대상으로 사내 직업윤리교육의 경험 여부와 실효성에 대한 인식을 나누어 살펴보았다.
현재 40개의 비서 관련학과 중 12개 학과와 7개 학과에서 각각 직업일반윤리 중심의 교양과목과 비서직 특수직업윤리 중심의 전공과목으로 직업윤리 과목을 개설하여 교육하고 있다. 이러한 현황에 대해 대부분의 조사대상자가 비서직 직업윤리교육의 필요성을 느끼며, 비서 관련학과의 교과과정을 통해 가장 비중있게 다루어야 한다고 응답하였으나, 현재 비서 관련학과의 비서직 직업윤리교육 적절성에 대한 인식 결과는 비서직 직업윤리교육이 충분히 이루어지는가의 질문에서 보통이거나, 불충분한 것으로 나타났다. 교육내용과 중요도에 대해 비서직 특수직업윤리교육이 직업일반윤리교육보다 더 중요하다는 의견이 많았고, 과목의 구분에서는 전공과목으로 하거나, 비서실무 등의 과목에 포함시켜 실시해야 한다는 결과가 나왔다.
이러한 결과를 바탕으로, 비서직 직업윤리교육은 교양과목 중심에서 벗어나 전공과목으로서 발전해야 하며, 이를 위해 비서직 직업윤리 과목의 체계적이고 구체적인 교육 과정과 교재, 수업방법 연구 및 개발이 이루어져야 할 것을 제언한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In recent years, there have been increased importance and necessity of the vocational ethics education in various fields including secretarial science. The objective of this paper is (a) to examine the current state of the vocational ethics education for secretarial science department in junior college and university, and (b) to search for its desirable guides and directions.
For this purpose. the face to face personal interviews with the expert group and the questionnaire surveys of professors and secretaries were conducted after the theoretical background being closely reviewed.
In this study. participants were asked to disclose their recognition regarding the importance of the vocational ethics education and its present conditions, and to suggest the future improved directions for it. The researcher compared the attitude of professors and secretaries toward the vocational ethics education for secretarial science.
Encouraging findings from this study include that (a) professors and secretaries at large place importance on the vocational ethics education for secretarial science, more emphasizing the specific vocational ethics education than the general one, and (b) they highlight the current vocational ethics is insufficient with a number of possible reasons, such as lack of concrete and practical curriculum, teaching materials, instructions, etc. Compared with secretaries, professors take the more negative look at the real situation.
In order to make students aware of and well prepared for ethical dilemmas that may arise in the workplace, the contents and the curriculum of specific vocational ethics education in school should be developed systematically.
