국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 1980년 이후의 한국의 비서교육 분야에서 이루어진 연구들을 비서학논총과 석박사학위논문을 중심으로 분석하여 연구의 동향을 파악하고 향후 우리 나라의 비서교육 연구 활동이 추구해야 할 과제를 제시하고자 한다.
분석은 주로 세 가지 주요 영역에서 이루어졌는데, 연구의 대상, 연구의 주제 및 연구방법이다.
주요 결과는 첫째, 대부분의 연구들이 기업비서를 대상으로 이루어졌으며, 둘째, 연구제는 비서의 업무와 역량, 인간관계와 커뮤니케이션, 교과과정의 개발과 개선 등이 주를 이루고 있었으며, 마지막으로 연구방법으로 문헌연구와 조사연구가 대부분을 차지하고 있었다.
향후 비서교육 연구는 다양한 이론적 관점과 대안적인 방법론을 탐색하는 방향으로 수행되어져야 하며, 비서교육의 학문적 정체성을 확립하는 방향으로 나아가야 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to review the trends of researches on secretarial studies and education and to suggest the direction of future researches. Researchers analyzed both articles of Journal of Secretarial Studies and master's and doctorial thesis to investigate the trends of 1) the subject, 2) main themes. and 3) research method.
As the major outcomes, following trends of research in secretarial studies and education were fairly outlined: 1) most studies were for corporate secretaries, 2) main themes were studied as following topics: secretarial job & core competencies, human relations & communication, and curriculum development & improvement, 3) literature review & empirical research were also as many applied as research method.
In future, researches should be performed through exploring the various theoretical perspectives and the alternative methodology.
