This study analyzed the theory and practice of network organization in the governance contest. First, the study explored the theoretical background and design of network organizations Second, to test the importance of network organizations, a case study was performed on the Daecheong Lake Preservation Movement, focusing on its organization and activities. The Movement involves both public and private actors, yet even after one year since its inception, this public-private partnership was found to be still at an undeveloped stage in terms of its organization and activities.
