사범대생의 눈으로 본 사범대학 교육의 의미 : 서울대학교 사범대학 사회교육과의 사례를 중심으로 A case study of an undergraduate student in social studies education, Seoul National University = The Meaning and the Role of College of Education through Undergraduate Student's Life

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 사범대학생들의 일상과 일상에 대한 그들의 해석을 통해 사범대학 교육의 의미를 밝히고자 한다. 이를 위해 서울대학교 사범대학 사회교육과 학생들에 대한 면담 및 참여관찰을 실시하였다. 연구결과 학생들은 사범대학의 공식적 비공식적 교육과정을 통해 '함께' '교육적 소양'을 만들어가고 있었다. 하지만 다양한 경로를 통해 습득된 교육적 소양들은 때로는 충돌되는 모습을 보이기도 한다. 결국 사법대학은 학생들을 '함께' 묶어주는 공간 이상의 의미를 지니고 있지 않으며, 사범대학에서 형성된 '교육적 소양'은 쉽게 설명할 수 없는 '막연한 그 무엇'으로만 남게 되는 것이다. 이는 상당부분 '내용의 전문성'과 '교과교육적 지향' 사이의 줄타기에서 비롯된 것으로, 교과교육학의 재정립, 실습의 강화, 임용고사의 개선을 통해 사범대학의 존재의미를 부각시킬 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is about how students in College of Education think about their experiences during their university life. The Questions are; 1)What did they do, learn and think during their university life and how did they think about their experiences at that time? 2) How do they decide about their future career and what's the function of College of Education? To solve these Questions, I chose an undergraduate student in the Department of Social Studies Education, Seoul National University as a case, and had a deep interview with her and did participatory observation about her everyday life at Seoul National University, especially in her classroom, during her student-teacher practice, during her extra curriculum activity.
The results are; Students made 'together' their own' educational ability' in College of Education, Seoul National University. The College of Education itself functioned as a frame to make student think, learn and act in. But the ' educational ability' is very abstract and the College of Education cannot give more meaning to them.
