다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)
The purpose of this study is to examine the extents and causes of female delinquency. Especially, this study concerns with the effects of 'sex-role characteristics'(i. e. masculine, androgynous, feminine, indifferentiate) in connection with sex role socialization on the boys and girls in delinquent bahavior. Findings suggest that 'masculine' group was more likely to be delinquent than the other groups in both sexes. The findings regarding the influence of sex-role characteristics suggest that 'masculine' characteristics were more associated with boys delinquency than girls. while masculinity had very little effect on the delinquency of girls who experienced strong social control, it affected girls who were weakly controlled. The girls with masculine preferences of sex-role stereotype attitudes were more likely to be delinquent.
