      The purpose of this study was to develop peer support method to help isolated students in elementary school. Research 1 aimed at developing peer interaction rating scale that will be able to measure interaction frequency of elementary school students. The survey was conducted among 212 students(Male 110, Female 102) in Pohang of grade 5 and 6 in elementary schools. The result factor analysis was classified in 4 factor; emotional interaction, instrumental interaction, companion interaction in the school, companion interaction from school outside. Also, the high interaction group received a higher affirmative nomination than the low interaction group, while the low interaction group received a higher negative nomination than the high interaction group in the sociometric test. More, the high interaction group was lower isolated score, depression, anxiety, hostile feeling than the low interaction group. The aim of research 2 was to develop peer support list to help isolated students and to verify the effects through cases study in elementary school. The result was showed the tendance where the interaction frequency increased at the three cases, while negative nomination diminished above 1/2 in the sociometric test.
