보육교사의 효능감과 역할수행능력 인식에 관한 연구 = A Study of the Efficacy of Educare Center`s Teachers and Perception of Role Performing Ability

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to find out teachers` efficacy for child care and education, and perception of role performing ability, and to identify a relation between efficacy for child care and education, and perception of role performing ability. In this study, 248 inservice teachers in edu-care centers completed questionaries about Efficacy for Child Care and Teaching(ECCT), and perception of teacher`s role performing ability. The result of this study can be summarized as follows. First, ``age``, ``year of experience``, ``amount of inservice education``, and ``partiin decision-making of working place`` were found as important variables in efficacy of child care and education. Second, Teacher thought that role for child fostering agent was the most important, but role for maintenance of partnership with community was the least one for their role performing. With respect to teacher`s variables, participation in decision-making of working place was found as important variables in teacher`s perceptions of role performing ability. Third, this study was found out the significant relation between efficacy for child care and education and perception of role performing ability except role for fostering agent.
