어머니의 완벽주의 성향과 자녀의 정서지능과의 관계 = The Relationship between Kindergartners' Emotional Intelligence and their Mothers' Perfectionism

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 어머니의 완벽주의 성향이 자녀의 정서지능 발달과 어떤 관련성이 있는지를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구를 위하여 만 5세 유아와 어머니 각 122명을 대상으로 각각 정서지능과 완벽주의 성향에 대한 검사를 실하였다.
연구 결과, 첫째, 어머니의 완벽주의 성향은 자녀의 정서지능 중 자기인식, 타인인식, 타인조절 발달에 부정적으로 관련되는 경향이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 둘째, 어머니의 완벽주의 성향은 남아의 정서지능 발달에 적게 관련되는 것으로 나타났으며, 셋째, 어머니의 완벽주의 성향이 여아의 모든 정서지능 요인 발달에 부정적 영향 요인이 되는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to determine the tendency of the relationship between kindergartners’ emotional intelligence and their mothers’ perfectionism. The subjects of this study were 122 kindergartners and their mothers.
The results of this study are as follows：
1. Kindergartners’ emotional intelligence and their mothers’ perfectionism were found to be negatively correlated.
2. Kindergartners’ emotional intelligence was more negatively associated with the mother’s self-oriented perfectionism more than their other-oriented perfectionism.
3. The mother’s perfectionism had a more negative influence on their daughter’s emotional intelligence than their son’s.
