이벤트업 종사자의 업무수행능력에 관한 중요도-성과 연구 = The Importance & Performance Analysis on the Knowledge, Skills and Competencies of Event Practitioners

This study presents the importance and performance analysis on the knowledge, skills and competencies of which an event practitioner must possess for carrying on the job. Literature has been reviewed on the importance-performance analysis and the required knowledge, skills and competencies of event practitioner. In accordance with the results of the literature review, twelve attributes have been selected for questionnaire survey. Through the data collection 100 responses from the managers in Korean event industry were used for importance-performance analysis with required t-test. Findings are 1) two attributes of event coordination and market research and marketing were identified in the Concentrate Here quadrant. Finance and budget planning were also closely related to this quadrant with business planning. 2) Three attributes of event planning, time management and contingency management were situated in the Keep Up the Good Work quadrant. 3) Four attributes of sponsorship, human resources management, administration and knowledge on the related law and regulation were loaded in the Low Priority quadrant. 4)Only one attribute of networking was identified in the Possible Overkill quadrant.
