한국어 문법 교육 연구의 검토 = An Overview of Studies on Korean Grammar Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

At this point, it is worthy that this paper reviews studies on Korean Grammar Education and searches for inquires next to as a device to develop the system of Korean Grammar Education This paper overviews the studies, dividing into the beginning period of from in the 1980 to the early in the 1990 and the growth period of Korean Grammar Education from in the later 1990 to nowadays. From in the 1980 to the early in the 1990, it was published the studies carried on not the goal and evaluation of Korean Grammar Education but general contents of grammar, problems in Korean language materials and error analysis of Korean language learners. The papers in this period were generally about individual grammar items, syllables and grammar system for Korean language learning. Individual grammar items ware mostly dealt with verbal endings, particles, tense, honorific expression and so on. It was described by the method of the analysis learner`s errors and Korean language materials. However, the studies in this period did not reached to get a good effect. From in the later 1990, it became growing as increasing the papers of grammar education and being various the topics. In particular, it was published studied on the principle of grammar education and selection and arrangement of grammar items. This was related with a process for Korean education to settle down education linguistics. Korean grammar education as the first language developed into verbal endings, particles and several categories, on the other side Korean grammar education as the second language did not inquiry every field. Yet, it has been discussing grammar items particles, verbal endings, honorific expression, passive form, irregular verb and so on and grammar system and teaching methods. In conclusion, the problems on Korean grammar education as the second language needed to study are the next. 1) It is more needed that the study is based on grammar system, even though it has getting out of tendency that shows results from grammar error in learner`s writing. 2) It is required that the subject should be wider. 3) It should keep away from following former studies.
