유아의 마음이론, 가장놀이 주제 표상 수준, 실행기능 발달과의 관계 = Relationships among Theory of Mind, Themes of Pretend Play, and Executive Function in Young Children

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

To examine relationships among theory of mind, levels of theme of pretend play, and executive function, 192 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds were selected from 4 kindergartens located in Seoul area. Children's performance on six false belief tasks and four executive function tasks were measured. Using the target-child-focused observation, the levels of theme of pretend play were observed. The older children showed higher performance of theory of mind and executive function, and higher level of pretend play than the younger children. Among theory of mind, executive function and levels of themes of pretend play, significant correlations were revealed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 3, 4, 5세 유아의 마음이론, 가장놀이 주제의 표상 수준, 실행기능 수행 발달과의 관계를 밝히기 위하여, 마음이론과 실행기능에 대한 면접과 가장놀이를 관찰하였다. 연구대상은 서울과 경기 지역 유치원 4기관에 재원하고 있는 유아 192명으로 3세 66명, 4세 62명, 5세 64명이다. 연구결과는 연령이 높아지면 마음이론 수행력, 가장놀이 주제의 표상 수준, 실행기능 수행력도 높게 발달하였으며, 마음이론, 가장놀이 주제의 높은 수준 표상과 실행기능의 발달은 상호관련성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과에 기초하여 유아의 마음이론의 수행, 가장놀이 발달, 실행기능의 수행의 인과적 상호관련 연구의 필요성을 제안하였다.
