도덕과 교육과정과 덕교육의 위상 = The National Curriculum in Moral Education and Phase of Virtue

In this study, I analysed the curriculum and textbooks in Moral Education for grasping the phase of virtue approach in it. Through this, I sought for theoretically right directions by looking out for the characteristics and limits of virtue approach in Moral Education. For this, I analysed virtue approaches in Western and our tradition society that have exercised great influence on the Moral Education Curriculum in the elementary and secondary school. Through this, I sought for the implications in Moral Education. Next, I analysed how virtue approach reflect in the 7th Moral Education Curriculum and it`s a tentative plan in the elementary and secondary school. Last, through virtue approach I looked for the great possibilities binded oneself by the particular period and situation. And because the terminal goals of Moral Education consist in autonomous morality, we can regard virtue approach as preceding process for the rational morality.
