The first purposes of this study is to analyze the effect of mentoring functions and organizational effectiveness. I classified the independent variable, the specific function of mentoring into two sub-categories based on the Noe`s research model and analyzed the individual effects of those on the 2 sub categories of the dependent variable in organizational commitment, job satisfaction. The second purpose of this study is to identify if followership has any moderating influence on the relationship between mentoring and organizational commitment. And the aim of the study is to verity moderating of followership on the dependant variables with the fundamental effectiveness of mentoring. The study model for the study is as follows: Over 300 participants military officers in one organization were given questionnaires for this study. Overall, there were 154 submissions but only 143 valid copies were analyzed. The results of analysis show that career-enhancing function and psychosocial function of mentoring had statistically significant positive correlation with the three variables of organizational commitment and job satisfaction. The findings of this study are as follows: First, this study tested the hypothesis that mentoring has positive influence on the organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Second, the relationship between mentoring Functions and organizational effectiveness was moderated by followership.
