This study is intended to understand the influence of servant leadership on organizational citizenship behavior and moderating effect of emotional intelligence on that relationship. To analyze moderating effect of emotional intelligence, four sub-dimensions of which are separately considered: emotional awareness, emotional presentation, emotional adjustment, emotional utilization. Data were collected from 122 respondents. Result shows that servant leadership is positively related to organizational citizenship behavior and moderating effect of emotional intelligence is partially accepted, that is, emotional presentation and emotional adjustment have moderating effect on the relation between servant leadership and organizational citizenship behavior but emotional awareness and emotional utilization show no moderating effect. Result of this study implies that servant leadership plays an important role in enhancing organizational performance and such a role might be diminished if leader could not recognize employees` individual emotional intelligence. This study also contribute to theory building in new leadership area by empirically testing an effect of servant leadership on organizational citizenship behavior with emotional intelligence.
