온라인 커뮤니티를 매개로 한 아파트 공동체 형성에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Formation of Apartment Community with Online Community as a Medium

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of online community on the revitalization of offline community. Under the assumption that a specific online community exists on the same continuum of thin and thick communities, this study aims to systematically analyze communal interaction using the concept of reciprocity, which refers to the moral obligation among the members of a community. The online community `Chuncheon Dranche (cafe.naver.com/myhouse)` of Dranche Apartment in Chuncheon has been selected as the study subject, and quantitative and qualitative content analysis and depth interview on the bulletin were conducted. According to the analysis result, the interaction pattern among the community members having the online community of Chuncheon Drenche Apartment as a medium showed the characteristics of thin community, which are information sharing and exchange of intimacy, and also showed the characteristics of thick community, which are formation of communal engagement and communal intervention. As time passes, the interaction among the members of a community first leads to the revitalization of information sharing and communal intervention, followed by the revitalization of exchange of intimacy and formation of communal engagement. The relation between apartment community and online community can be analyzed as mutually complementary relation.
