다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this article, network analysis is introduced by theoretical and methodological perspective. Theoretically it is under theory of relation and methodologically it deals with relational data. Especially, 'semantic network analysis' which deals with not only forms of relation but also contents of relation is deeply discussed with examples because it's more useful for socio-cultural text studies: 1) traditional content analysis can analyze only substantial and independent words, but semantic network analysis can deal relations of words, 2) semantic network analysis can overcome researcher's valuing problem because its data is gathered through mechanically, 3) semantic network analysis can analyze with other statistical method such as cluster analysis or discriminant analysis. For further studies and development, 1) area of research had better be enlarged, 2) usual network analysis is also a good methodology to study socio-cultural themes such as juvenile problem, 3) other statistical method can be used together, 4) semantic network needs more theoretical discussion.
