For a successful adaptation to rapidly changing business environment every organization seeks to organizational flexibility, which requires a genuine self-management. The self-management could be achieved through empowering employees and internal leadership that employees establish objectives and control by themselves. From this perspectives this study try to analyze influences of empowerment and self-leadership on organizational effectiveness and also analyze a moderating effect of self-management on the relation between empowerment and organizational effectiveness. The first result shows that empowerment enhances job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and job involvement of the employees. Secondly, it shows that reinforcing self-leadership make higher job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and job involvement of the employees. Finally it shows a significant moderating effect of self-leadership on the relation between empowerment and organizational effectiveness. It implies that a consequence of empowering employees could be more effective through reinforcing their self-leadership. Implication of the result suggest that a success of employee empowering depends on an enhancement of their self-leadership.
