The purpose of this study was to synthesize the research trend of social interaction of young children with disabilities in inclusive setting by analyzing journal article from 1990-2006 in foreign.
The research was conducted, by selecting 11 experimental cases throughout 1990 to 2006 and by analyzing their participants, research methods, experimental setting, intervention methods, achieved results, experimental measure, results, generalization, maintenance and experimental trends.
The major findings of this study were as follows: research in social interaction of young disabilities in inclusive setting were popular in 2000s. The subject of the researches were mainly autistic children, and the method of were all experimental one. Experimental situation were primarily natural ones(9 researches). intervention methods were related to the interaction and they were divided into teacher related factor and peer related factors. Researches in teacher related factors were 8.
In achieved results, 6 researches used social interaction and 3 researches used social interaction and communication. In measurement, 6 researches chose video records, 5 researches selected direct observation. The above researches were all meaningful, 6 of the researches explain generalization and maintenance. Based on the result, the implication were discussed and future study issues were recommended.
