자폐성 장애 아동의 가족을 위한 가족지원 방안 = Strategies for supporting family of children with Autism

국문 초록 (Abstract)

자폐성 장애는 생애 초기에 발생하며, 사회성 결함 장애로 인식되고 있다. 이러한 장애의 특성으로 인해 자폐 아동과 그 가족간 상호적인 영향은 매우 크다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 자폐성 장애 아동의 교육 효과를 증가시키고 자폐 아동을 포함한 가족 구성원의 삶의 질 향상을 위해 자폐성 장애 아동의 가족을 위한 지원은 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 자폐성 장애 아동의 가족관련 선행 논문 17편의 문헌연구를 통하여 8가지 가족지원 방안을 도출하였다: (1) 정서적인 측면에서의 가족지원, (2) 조기발견과 조기교육 프로그램 제공 및 가족 참여 지원, (3) 재정적 지원을 통한 가족지원, (4) 서비스 접근성의 확보 및 전문가 협력을 통한 가족지원, (5) 개별화 가족지원 계획을 통한 가족지원, (6) 아버지와 형제를 포함하는 가족지원, (7) 직업생활 부문의 가족지원, (8) 아동의 미래 생활 옹호자로서의 역할을 위한 가족지원.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Autism originates prior to birth or in early infancy, and numberous studies have recognized the social deficits are primary handicaps of autism. These characteristics of children with autistic disorder are likely to have an impact on their family members, and the interaction of children with autism and their family is very important. Therefore the supporting family caring those children would be very important in increasing the effectiveness of education for them and improving the quality of their life. Based on the review of 17 articles, this present paper was to suggest 8 strategies for supporting family of children with autism: (1) the support family in emotional aspect (2) family-centered early identification and early intervention services (3) the financial support (4) the support family in services access and parent-teacher collaboration (5) the support family in planning their IFSP (6) father’s and sibling’s involvement in the family support (7) the support family in their work (8) the support family as advocators of their children’s future life.
